The Standard Server installer includes EnterpriseDB’s Installation Tuning option that configures over 50 database parameters based on your pick of Server Utilization type (Dedicated/Mixed/Development) and Workload Profile choice (Transaction/General Purpose/Reporting).

Before you even load data, your database is optimized for a server/application usage pattern specific to your needs. The Update Notification service also insures that your installation contains the most up to date components assuring you have the latest features and fixes available.
