Robert Frost famously said “I'm not confused, I'm just well mixed.” As the advent of Cloud as a buzzword reaches critical mass in the market I can't help but feel much like Frost did. As a kid clouds represented mysticism and allure to me. I always managed to find some obscure shape that I convinced myself the cloud looked like; and had countless arguments with my friends to put my argument forward. Have you been to a 'Cloud Expo' recently?

In the early sixties Thomas Kuhn wrote The Structure of Scientific Revolution, introducing and definining the now popular concept of a "paradigm shift". Kuhn argued that advancements in science are not evolutionary, but rather are a "series of peaceful interludes punctuated by intellectually violent revolutions", and in those revolutions "one conceptual world view is replaced by another.”
